Our Beginnings
Dave’s Auto and Truck Service in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is not and was never a chain or big box shop. Rather, it began as our family’s grassroots efforts in 1974 when Aramingo Exxon approached employee Dave Andrzejewski with an offer to purchase a gas station. Dave and wife Nancy indeed decided to become business owners, investing our wedding gift money to start our own shop. Operating for about a half-century, the venture has clearly been successful. In fact, our son David, one of our two children, has also joined the team. From day one, the mission has been to provide auto repair with honesty and integrity. Our staff of ASE-certified technicians apply those principles to all kinds of automotive service and repair work, including your personal transportation, fleet autos, trucks/trailers, and RVs. Located at 100 Red Lion Rd Philadelphia, PA 19115, we’re easy to reach near the border with Huntingdon Valley. Business hours are Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm, and making an appointment is easy. Count on us to assist you with the preventive maintenance services needed to keep your vehicle(s) running well, such as oil changes, fluid checks, and tire monitoring. If something goes wrong, we work on many components housed within the major systems–brakes, A/C, drive train, fuel, electrical/starting, steering, suspension, transmission/clutch, and tires. Best of all, we provide this same level of work for a wide cross section of transportation–those powered by gasoline, diesels, RVs, fleet units, large trucks, and trailers (inspection).

We have a nice customer waiting area, but we can help if you leave your vehicle with us. You can use our local shuttle or reserve a loaner car beforehand.
